Gate Repair in Naples - Fixed Today, No Surprise Invoice

Fast, Reliable Gate Repair Across Naples

Most gate repairs in Naples come down to two forces: the Gulf’s salt air and the sheer number of automated entry systems across the city’s gated communities. We get both. Vance Gate Repair has rebuilt, realigned, and rewired gates from Pelican Bay to Grey Oaks, and we know what a Naples HOA board expects before the first hinge comes off. Whether your swing gate is sagging from a corroded pivot cup or your operator board got fried by a summer lightning strike, we dispatch a named technician with background-checked credentials and a written price in hand. Call (928) 260-0864 and a live person answers, day or night.

Why Vance Gate Repair Is Naples’s Preferred Gate Repair Company

Adrian Vance built this company the same way he ran commercial access-control sites starting in 2014: document everything, price in writing, and leave the job cleaner than you found it. That discipline translates directly to Naples residential work, where HOA covenants demand precision and management companies want a paper trail. Every visit ends with a photographed record of what was found, what was adjusted, and what was installed. You keep a copy. We file one. No future technician has to guess what happened.

Naples homeowners routinely tell us the same thing after we leave: the written price before work starts was the reason they called. Under Haven Standard Clause 1, you get a flat number on paper before any tool comes off the truck. If the job grows, you approve the change in writing first. There is no invoice surprise at the end, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every repair for a full year. Dispatch and scheduling are coordinated from our South Florida office, with crews serving Naples locally.

Our Gate Repair Services in Naples

Electric Gate Repair

Naples summers are hard on control boards. Near-daily lightning from June through September sends surges through low-voltage lines, and the first thing to go is usually the operator circuit board or the access-control interface. We carry replacement boards and transformers for LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, and DoorKing operators, so a fried board rarely means waiting on a distributor. We check the board, the transformer, the photo-eyes, and the wiring terminations, then photograph every reading before we reassemble the housing.

Automatic Gate Repair

Automatic gates in Naples live a hard life. Salt air corrodes arm brackets, the humidity seeps into limit-switch housings, and the constant open/close cycles of a busy community entry wear out drive gears faster than anyone expects. We service nine major automation brands including Ghost Controls and Viking, which means we repair whatever motor is already on the property rather than steering you toward a replacement you don’t need. Same-day service is available for a gate stuck open or closed.

Hinge & Post Repair

This is the Naples specialty. Ground-set pivot cups on beachside and bay-front swing gates corrode within a few years, and once the cup goes, the leaf sags and jams against the driveway. The repair itself is straightforward: lift the leaf, cut out the old cup, set a new one. The complication in Naples is architectural review. Many HOA boards in Naples require replacement hardware to match the original powder-coat finish within a Delta E color tolerance of 1.0, which is stricter than neighboring Collier County municipalities and turns a simple hinge swap into a custom-match exercise. We handle the color matching and the paperwork.

Gate Realignment

A gate that drags on the driveway is not just annoying; it’s a sign that something structural has moved. In Naples, that something is usually a post footing that has loosened in sandy soil or a hinge that has worn against salt-air corrosion. We realign the gate, shim and re-anchor the post where needed, and document the before-and-after geometry with photographs. If the same gate sags again within a year, the 365-Day Done Right Promise kicks in.

Trusted Brands We Service in Naples

We work on whatever operator is already installed. That includes Viking swing and slide operators, Ghost Controls actuators, and DoorKing telephone-entry systems, alongside LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Elite, and Mighty Mule. Nine brands, one service van. For Naples customers, this matters because HOA covenants often require matching replacement components to the original manufacturer’s spec. We stock the common boards, transformers, hinges, and brackets locally so a repair isn’t held hostage by a backorder.

Common Gate Repair Problems We See in Naples Homes

• Corroded ground-set pivot cups. Salt air from the Gulf eats through exposed steel within five to seven years on beachside properties. The leaf suddenly sags, scrapes the driveway, and won’t close cleanly. Replacement is the only real fix.
• Lightning-damaged operator boards. Summer storms in Naples send surges through low-voltage access-control wiring. The gate goes dead or the keypad stops responding. We replace the board, install surge protection where the HOA approves it, and document the repair.
• HOA color-match delays. Architectural-review boards often require finish samples and spec sheets before approving replacement brackets. We prepare the documentation, submit it to the management company, and keep the repair moving while the review happens.
• Post-footing shift in sandy soil. Naples soil, especially in older communities built in the 1980s and 1990s, doesn’t always hold a post plumb forever. Shifted posts throw the gate out of alignment and stress the hinges. We re-anchor the footing and realign the gate as one job.
