Promise Terms - Vance Gate Repair

The Promise, in One Paragraph

When Vance Gate Repair completes a job at your property, that work is covered for 90 days from the service date – no forms, no asterisks, no receipt hunt. If something we repaired or installed doesn’t hold, we come back, we fix it, and we charge nothing for the return visit. The price you agreed to in writing before the job started is the number that stays on the invoice. That’s The Haven Standard, and it applies to every job we complete.

What’s Covered

  • Workmanship on any job we performed. If a repair we made doesn’t hold within 90 days of the service date, we return and make it right at no charge.
  • Parts we supplied and installed. Components sourced and fitted by our technician are covered for the same 90-day window – if a part we installed fails under normal use, we replace it.
  • The return visit itself. Getting a technician back to your gate costs nothing – no trip fee, no diagnostic charge, no invoice waiting when we leave.
  • A full re-do when a repair doesn’t hold. If the first fix didn’t solve the problem, we don’t patch the patch – we go back to the beginning and do it correctly.
  • Clean work on every visit. We leave the gate area the way we found it – hardware cleared, panel closed, no debris on the driveway.
  • The documented record. The photo record filed when we completed the original job stays on file and is available to you – so the return technician already knows what was done and isn’t starting from scratch at your expense.

What Isn’t Covered

What Isn’t Covered
  • Storm damage, vehicle strikes, or accidents after our visit. If a truck clips the gate post or a tree comes down on the operator, that’s a new job – and we’ll still come look at it and give you a written price before anything starts.
  • Work performed by another company or a homeowner after we left. If someone else touches the repair after we complete it, we can’t stand behind the outcome – but we’re happy to assess where things stand.
  • Parts the customer supplied. We install customer-supplied components as a courtesy, but we can’t cover a part we didn’t source, test, or warrant.
  • Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or service. A hinge that was already worn when we arrived, or a motor we flagged but weren’t asked to address, falls outside what we can honestly cover.
  • Problems the customer declined to have fixed when we flagged them. Our technician documents everything found on site – if we noted an issue and the customer asked us to skip it, that item isn’t part of this job’s coverage. We note it, photograph it, and file it.
  • Consumables that wear with use. Battery backup units, lubricant applied at the visit, and similar wear items aren’t defects – they’re maintenance. We’ll tell you on site what the expected service interval looks like.

How to Use the Promise

Step 1: Call (928) 260-0864 or book online

A live person answers at any hour – no voicemail, no callback queue. Tell them you’re calling about a completed job and want to use the 90-day promise.

Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done

You don’t need a receipt or a job number. We have the documented record on file – the service date, what was found, what was installed, and the technician who handled it.

Step 3: We schedule the return visit

We’ll get a technician back to your property. No fee is discussed, no deposit is required, and the appointment is confirmed with the technician’s name before they arrive – same process as the first visit.

Step 4: We make it right

The technician reviews the documented record from the original visit, assesses what isn’t holding, and corrects it. When the job is done, a new photo record is filed – so the gate’s history stays complete.

Timing

Timing

The 90-day window opens on the date we completed your service and closes 90 days later. If you raise a concern just after that window closes, call anyway. We look at every situation on its own facts. A gate that was repaired correctly and then presented a related problem a few days past the deadline is not a situation we walk away from – we’re reasonable, and we’d rather you know that upfront than assume otherwise. Every location operating under the Vance Gate Repair name is independently owned and operated, and every one of them honors this promise as a condition of using The Haven Standard.
